Teresa Del Conde was in charge of some of the most influential cultural institutions in the country and came to coin the name with which the group of plastic artists is known today - generation of the rupture - that first marked differences with the muralism, costumbrista and political, that Hegemonized Mexican art until the middle of the last century. Author of more than 40 works. Awards: Premio Nacional de Crítica de Arte Luis Cardoza y Aragón, 2002; Medalla de Oro, INBA, 2008; UNAM, 2010, and Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, 2015. His research works include relevant studies on the most prominent figures of Mexican and world culture and art: namely: Francisco Toledo; Diego Rivera; Frida Kahlo; José Clemente Orozco; Juan Soriano; Manuel Felguérez; Varus remedies; Leonora Carrington; Fernando García Ponce; Freud; Gombrich; Caravaggio; Among others.
